It is only the podium: the top 10 lists live on each person's profiles, on the members page. For now the images are the site's own linework and the rest are placeholders: the real media comes in as it shows up on Discord.

How to join

  1. Join the Discord

    The invite is in the header button and in the footer. The server is open: you need no one's invite and no game account to come in and look around.

  2. Say hi and pick what you're into

    There are channels for music, games, anime and art. Grab the roles for what you like and you'll only see what you want to see.

  3. Play the Ghost Mode X5s

    CrossFire X5s and scrims are arranged in the X5 SILENCE WhatsApp group. Read the rules before you join — they apply to everyone.

  4. Bring what you make

    A clip, a POV, art, a playlist, a cover. This site's media and blog are built from what comes out of Discord — yours can go in too.

    A shared playlist, recommendations going back and forth, covers and tracks made by people here. Chiptune to shoegaze — if you love it, it fits.

  • Games

    CrossFire Ghost Mode is what we play most right now, with X5s and scrims every week. But any game that brings people together counts.

  • Geek art and media

    Anime, film, illustration, video editing. The site's media section is built from what the community posts on Discord.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to play CrossFire to join WELVMNG?

No. WELVMNG is a community for music, games and geek art — CrossFire Ghost Mode is the most organised part of it right now, but plenty of people show up only for the music, the anime or the art. Join the Discord and keep the channels you care about.

Does it cost anything to join?

No. The Discord is open and free, and so are the X5s and scrims. Nobody pays to play or to take part in anything here.

How do I get into the Ghost Mode X5s?

X5s and scrims are arranged in the X5 SILENCE WhatsApp group. Before you join, read the rules page: it has the group's code of conduct and the full list of allowed, blocked and forbidden equipment.

Who decides the X5 rules?

The community's organisers. This site publishes the rules exactly as they are, rewriting nothing — and every rule or equipment-status change goes into the changelog on the rules page, with a date.

Is the site available in English?

It is being translated. Pages that don't have an English version yet show the Portuguese content with a notice, instead of an out-of-date translation — on a rules page, that would be worse than not translating at all.
